MC (formerly know as CK) has an upcoming birthday, some new gear and he is itching to play some paintball.

Based on the recent temps and looking at the 10 day forcasted temps it could be awhile before the woods thaw. However, he has learned that BR has an indoor field in Fayetteville and he wants to go and try that. Speedball (dark side???)... They do offer a scenario experience.

It does look like something a little different and with the highs at 38 being the highest of the next ten days I said "what the heck...". So it does appear we will be loading up and traveling to Fayetteville on Saturday the 9th for some rec play there.

I thought I would throw this out there to see if you guys may want to try something a little different.

He just came in and said this is just to shake down our gear for the upcoming scenario season... Yeah Right!

Ares has seen this site and says they do have an urban environment. I would really like to try it, but the 9th is out due to some other typing of indoor shooting.

A panda walks into a bar and orders a beer and a hamburger. After he eats he stands up stretches and pulls out a gun shooting everyone in the room but the bartender. The panda puts $20 on the bar and turns to leave. As he walks out the door the bartender asks why the panda shot everyone. The panda tells him to look in the encyclopedia. The bartender looks up panda and he reads "Panda: Large black and white mammal native to China. Eats shoots and leaves."!"

So who is on the list of attending this event? Since I am out of town on the 16th, I might try to make this now.

It sounds as if the "Brady Bunch" is so large that we are having to mobilize a second vehicle.

It was a lot of fun actually. It did get a little scary when all of the hoodies were out in force. At one time there were probably 20 player hoodie teams out there in a very small area. But early in the day and from mid afternoon on we had some really good games in both areas. If we were there in force on a slow day we could have a blast doing some 3 or 4 man games in house on either field. CK did quite a few hopper ball games later in the day with some of the regulars and had a blast. They were self reffing between hoodie games and that worked out well. He didn't want to leave.

First paint sucked badly. Very dimpled. It finally sold out and the second batch was somewhat better. All of it was white box, white fill Heat. Air was 4k every time.

The facility is really pretty nicely done. When it was the busiest they had too many players on the field but solved that after a while. On the scenario side they finally started doing 5 player teams and were turning them around really quickly and that was much better play. When one group came off they had the next two teams ready to go on. I think it was a guy from Tango Alpha that was reffing then. I didn't get his name. It was 27 degrees when we got there... With out this option I would have been at home watching Johnny Quest...

Ares stopped by and helped me perform maintenance on the mini. Thank you for that. (where is Vicious when you need him?) (A-5's don't need dwell) We all shot pretty good all day. I wanted to load up my A5 after one of the 20 player games and scare off most of the hoodies but I left it in the truck. It would have sounded like a 50 cal in there.

I would not hesitate to go back. When I get over being sore that is....
