I was only able to attend one day of the event, but paid the premium to watch the Pro division from the VIP box. I wish I had a camera with me to get a picture of Silvia standing next to Bob Long. Anyway, Pro level paintball from an overhead view like we had was one of those amazing things I will never forget. Dynasty was by far the most impressive, as they would send runners to the 50 and beyond off the break. Most teams made it to the closest bunkers, but Dynasty normally controlled 80% of the field in the first 20 seconds. SF Explicit got penalized and had to play one man down for the rest of the event. They made an impressive stand going 6 men against 7 for the rest of the day. The refs were tough. Anytime I saw a player push back on a call, they pull that man and one more. I never saw a player wipe and get away with it. I saw one player get hit and dive into a bunker and three refs were on him right when he got back up to shoot.
I was surprised at the guns in use. A few players had Lux guns, such as Dynasty and an odd player there. The rest of the players were split between Egos and Bob Long guns. Zach Long came up into the VIP booth to visit family and was carrying his lime green Victory. I have a new dream gun now. -------------------- A panda walks into a bar and orders a beer and a hamburger. After he eats he stands up stretches and pulls out a gun shooting everyone in the room but the bartender. The panda puts $20 on the bar and turns to leave. As he walks out the door the bartender asks why the panda shot everyone. The panda tells him to look in the encyclopedia. The bartender looks up panda and he reads "Panda: Large black and white mammal native to China. Eats shoots and leaves."!"

Glad you enjoyed it. I tried to watch it on their webcast but that was horrible. In 7-man your gun skills mean a lot more than X-ball with ramping. I noticed they were on top of checking guns and DC Arsenal dropped out of the top eight because of a gun penalty (which made for two bad tournaments in a row for Ollie). I heard Bob talking about the efficiency of his newest marker and it getting 2500 to 2600 shots on a 68/45, not too shabby.
I enjoyed playing 7-man more than any other tournament format and sure do miss it. -------------------- That's the schizophrenic problem facing Republicans today -- it can't be, on the one hand, a party which wants government out of people's lives... The new BL Victory gun is astounding at throwing large amounts of paint. One of the more humorous moments was when a push against Oakland Blast caused them all to start screaming and open fire. Next thing you know the whole team just laid down a wall of paint. They eliminated everyone, but just kept the paint flying. Bob Long was jumping up and down screaming stop shooting, paint costs money.

Hmm...this site is called Carolina Paintballers....neither of those words, even remotely, would have landed a search engine here for RC Cars and Vegas, much less RC Car tracks IN Las Vegas! We even have a nifty little picture of the silhouette of the Carolinas in the title bar and paint splatters in the background. Seriously!? I'd think there would be better places to ask this. Like ANYWHERE else. Unless this is blatant spam and kudos to you for making me type this. -------------------- (NOTE) The above post contains large amounts of sarcasm, and in no way is intended to offend anyone,
