For those who have seen it - Ken had a red barrel kit that we were trying to identify. Ares had thought it was a Sanchez Machine kit, and I think he is correct. The barrel configurations and box it comes it looks just like the Orbium kit.

SM barrel kit
I looked at one of their guns and engraved on the side is a similar circle design/logo, except the arrows have been replaced with SM

AGD Tac-One w/ Extra ULT FOR SALE

As much as I hate to do it, my venerable Tac-One has collected dust long enough.

Asking $450, which looks to be a pretty solid price based on what I'm seeing. With the extras and the condition of the marker, I'm not incline to any much lower. Price does not reflect shipping, handling or PayPal charges if the sale involves those. This will not be my asking price on other forums.

AGD Tac-One in Excellent Shape. Includes:
Intelliframe with Blade Trigger and Dye Stickies
E-mag wingless rail
Low Profile Clamping Feedneck
Original Tac-One 2-piece J&J Barrel
X-Valve with tuned Level 10. Actually, the valve has some nice reactivity with a Crossfire 800psi tank. I'm sure the ULT could be tuned to get some nice strings.

If you know anything about me, it's that I take exceptional care of my markers. The TacOne is no exception. She's been well cared for, oiled and is in great shape. If you've ever thought of getting an Automag, this would be a great place to start.

I'll leave it posted up here on CPb for a couple of days, then I'll start cross posting it to other forums.

I lost a rocket

I was tuning up the sp1 now with the havok launcher mounted on it. The air lines came out nice and it now has a hookup on the back for connecting to a harness to make it a little easier for the long treks. I was out blasting away at the tree in the back yard and was trying to figure out at what point we had velocity drop off. Afterwards, I figured I might as well try the launcher. I was just planning on testing for recharge time, but little did I know I had a rocket stored in the barrel.

I was aiming almost straight up in the air. I figure my house is about 40-50 feet high, but it made it way more than double that. The wind took the rocket and now some neighbor of mine has a nerf rocket in their back yard. It should be a fun find next time they mow the lawn.

I am doing this purely for relaxation, not the intense stuff you guys do. I am scared of CockerKid.

Anyway, I am looking for a cheap bike. I plan on picking up a used bike on craigslist. I will probably use it for a few months then throw it in the basement to be never seen again (I am realistic about my non-paintball hobbies).
BR Big Game--BT World Game, Aug 21 AAR

I haven't played paintball since November of last year, so it had been awhile. I decided I'd just go out and do a rec day at BR or it would be a full year before I played again, in all likelihood. On the way there I was talking to Jet on the phone and he reminded me that it was actually a big game, not a rec day. I wasn't terribly happy about that, because I really didn't want to spend the extra money to play and it was way too hot for me to actually "care" about the game. I went anyways, and I figured since RP would be there it couldn't be bad.

I got to the field at around 11, so I missed all of the normal registration line. I have no idea if the new computer system is any faster or slower, so I can't say anything about that. It was a lot easier than trying to find a pen and getting paint grease/sweat all over your hand written waiver.

I found RP in the parking lot and I went onto the field. Our base (blue team) was at the back of the "Ghost Town" field, baking in the sun. The red team's base was at the back corner of the fort field, also baking in the sun. A player met us at the woodline of the barnyard field and said that the enemy was just on the other side, so we began to clear the barnyard field. There was actually no one on the barnyard field, but I felt special because I got to practice my new CQC skills while we cleared the bunkers. The enemy, as it turned out, had retreated pretty deep into the Amazon. RP cleared the field all the way to the far tap line, and I moved up the middle with a couple of newbies. The handful of enemies that we shot out were all of the red team that were in the middle of the field, and we pushed all the way to the Fort field.

...to be continued...

Chelle's Mom

For those of you who know Chelle and the situation she has been facing with her mom, I wanted to let you know what was going on. She was diagnosed 2 years ago (August 08) with Pancreatic Cancer, after a failed surgery that same year in November she was given 3-6 months. She beat the odds and this past May was told that the tumor was dead. Unfortunately the treatment had been hard on her body and caused lots of back and hip pain. This past Friday she was rushed to the hospital complaining of pain in her abdomen. They were able to stabilize her and get her into a room. The said it was a blockage in her intestine. They intended to do some more tests that Saturday. Saturday morning Chelle was spending some time with her in the hospital and Marie (her mom) had some trouble breathing. She called the nurse and Marie was rushed to icu, where unfortunately she passed. Her heart simply stopped. Chelle wants everyone to know that just like her mom said, cancer would not beat her, and it didn't. Thank you all for your prayers and support over the last two years. From simple phone calls to Otto driving out of his way the night she was given 3 months to live just to check on Chelle for me, you have all been great. Hope to see you again on the field soon.
~Duane

Talking with Mr SP1 (Focus) the other day, I told him Smart parts was back up and running, since the shutdown was supposed to be for the month of January. Reading other sources here and there, I see some people reporting SP is still closed, others saying it opened up in early Feb and is back shipping parts.

Anyone know any more details? I read the 20+ page post on Mcarterbrown and it dawned on me that some people do not like smart parts. Other than that, I got little from their thread.

If it wasn't for several Rats picking up Mini's I would say with SP gone, no one on our team uses a gun still in production for a primary weapon.
Ok, I know a few people on this forum (where is Snake) like guns. Here is a question for you guys. I was reading about the South African gun BXP - a known variant/clone of the Mac 10. I found this website...Gunworld it says it can fire 1000 rounds per second. From a simple open bolt design, I find this unlikely. Do they mean 1000 rounds per minute? Or is there really a hand gun that is capable of 1000 rounds per second - I think the physics need to be proven on this.
